Really - any pelvic health issue! As our pelvic bowl is the container for our reproductive organs, bladder, anal canal and holding up our entire digestive system. Plus she contains muscles and ligaments and has a wide enervation system that runs through, impacting structure, nerve pain, inflammation, pain, etc. And let's not forget our fascia. A massive connective tissue network that surrounds every single muscle fiber, nerve, organ and ligament in your body. And thus also in your pelvic bowl. And when we start to unwind this, lots of shifts and changes happen, and often pain reduction/elimination is the result.
Find below a list of pelvic health situations where Somatic Pelvic Care or a Holistic Pelvic Health Consult can be beneficial for:
Nerve pain, nerve pinches, or chronic pelvic pain
Scar tissue (and not necessarily only from pelvic surgery - think referral pain - fascia adhesions etc)
Dyspareunia, (pain before/after intercourse)
Heavy PMS
Chronic BV/Yeast infections
Vaginismus/clitorodynia/vulvodynia/PID
Endometriosis/Adenomyosis, etc.
And since our body is very much intertwined with our mental/emotional/psychological state, traumatic experiences, boundary and medical violations, birth experiences where you were not listened to, can all impact our health in general and our pelvic health in particular.
When we start to safely and gently connect with our body, mind, heart, pelvic bowl and reproductive organs, our body gets a change to unwind, feel listened to, and so given the change and permission to let go, release and rewire new neuropathways that encourage healing. And this in turn helps to reduce pain, inflammation and chronic conditions. Everything is connected my Loves.

Both offerings will get you going far.
HOLISTIC PELVIC HEALTH CONSULTS are great for you if you are trying to figure out your next steps, often because the allopathic approach did not give you enough relief, or if you would simply like to try a fresh, natural approach to your issues. These 90 minute consults go deep, and we sit down to discuss everything you've don so far, what diagnosis you've received, what worked and didn't work, and anything else that you feel you want to share is welcome here. After our consult you will walk away with a thorough action plan along with nervous system care, lifestyle shifts, personal pelvic practices, a deeper emotional awareness and body connection, and a natural, holistic approach that supports your healing as a whole person, in a way that feels practical and doable.
You will feel empowered to continue your pelvic healing practice love.
Often after 1 or 2 months after the new action plan, woman start to feel better. And if you want you can add an other Consult to deep dive further, or if your body is asking for more (especially when there is scar tissue involved and or deeper layers that need to be heard), you can always move slowly into Somatic Pelvic Care Bodywork.
SOMATIC PELVIC CARE is for you if you want to go even deeper through an embodied, somatic approach. This work is slower, since the body always needs time to unwind and feel safe. We work with embodied touch and full consent, so you can relearn what feels good for you and establish new boundaries. This work touches emotional, spiritual, and psycho somatic layers, allowing you to move deeply within.
When and if you feel ready, we can include gentle internal and external pelvic and vulvar work to support healthy blood flow, help reduce pain, renew innervation throughout the pelvic nerves, and release fascia and fascial adhesions. This will help to rejuvenate your pelvic floor, reduce inflammation, nerve pain and restrictions.
This work can feel vulnerable, but also deeply empowering, and a new way of meeting yourself. This work allows for a profound relaxation of your pelvic floor and creates a ripple effect throughout your whole body. Women are often amazed by how relaxed they feel after a pelvic bowl treatment!
All in all, this work tends to touch the layers that conventional care often cannot reach.
Alongside the bodywork itself, you'll also receive a thorough action plan, lifestyle health suggestions, personal pelvic bowl practices, and you will leave with a deeper emotional awareness and body connection and feeling better and hopeful again.
So feel with your body, heart and mind where you want to start and what you wish for. There is no good or better way.
Just YOUR way and what YOU need right now.
Let's talk Love,
I'm here for you <3
Before we begin, we start with a thorough intake to understand your health history, current concerns, and what is bringing you to this work. This is also a space for connection, questions, and making sure you feel fully informed and at ease.
In our first session, we focus on creating safety, grounding, and helping you settle into your body. We work slowly, allowing your nervous system to soften and your body to feel supported. Together we move through a full pelvic bowl journey, connecting you deeply to your pelvis, womb, ovaries, and heart space.
We do not usually begin external pelvic work during the first session. Instead, we focus on building trust, awareness, and a felt sense of connection with your pelvis, womb, heart, and nervous system. That said, if your body offers a clear and embodied yes, we may gently begin with external vulvar work.
In later sessions, if your body feels ready and consent is clear, we move into gentle external and internal pelvic bodywork. This process is always consent led, slow, and guided entirely by your comfort and your boundaries.
You remain fully in charge throughout every session. You keep your top clothing on, and I recommend warm socks for your tootsies ♡
Because this work touches physical, emotional, and nervous system layers, sessions are spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart to allow time for integration, rest, and reflection.
Before we begin, we start with a short intake that I will email to you, so I can get an initial understanding of your current concerns, what you have done so far, and and what is bringing you to this consult.
Then we will either meet in person in Montclair, or we schedule a Zoom/WhatsApp/Facetime call to go deeper.
I will go over it all with you, we may discuss some deeper issues that seem to be running a theme and perhaps causing (emotional and physical) concern to you. And we naturally deep dive into what else is needed and going on.
I will come up with a practical plan/suggestions and recommendations for your Pelvic Health Plan. You will feel hopeful again. And I offer 60 min Follow Up consults if you need those, and if you at some point decide you want to try Somatic Pelvic Care, I am here for you.
(FYI: the Somatic Pelvic Care Intake fee will be waived - and I will send you a new thorough intake for this).

WHAT WOMEN EXPERIENCE AFTER A HOLISTIC PELVIC HEALTH CONSULT
Many women feel the following after their consult and action plan:
Hopeful again, often lighter in mood and emotion as old patterns come into view
Fully heard, often for the first time
More room in their body and heart, knowing it was not just in their mind
Empowered and eager to try something new
Ready to feel better again
Most women notice improvement within about a month of having received their 'action plan'. From there, many continue on their own, while others choose a second consult or move into Somatic Pelvic Care Bodywork for deeper embodied support.
Absolutely. I use non-latex gloves and place a towel beneath you. Receiving Somatic Pelvic Care during your cycle is completely fine, unless you would prefer not to.
Being on your cycle can actually deepen the experience, as your internal awareness and intuition tend to be heightened at this time. ♡
Yes very! Many women experience lingering pain even after surgery, and Somatic Pelvic Care can be particularly supportive in these cases.
Also there will be scar tissue, and therefor fascia adhesions. So it would be very good to work internally (and externally) to create renewed sensations, heal any nerve damage by increasing circulation and blood flow.
It can, yes. This work sometimes awakens emotions, feelings, or sensations that have been held in the body.
When that happens, we breathe together and allow what arises to move through. I hold this space with deep care and am fully trauma informed. ♡
Some areas may feel tender, and when that happens we stay, breathe, and allow the fascia to soften at its own pace. We never go looking for anything. We only allow what is ready to unfold.
Yes, this work is deeply beneficial for all kinds of scar tissue, whether from a cesarean, episiotomy, or any other belly/pelvic/back surgery.
Scar tissue can create tension in the fascia and generate pain signals in places that may not seem obviously connected to the scar. If you have unexplained or lingering pain after surgery, please come and see me.
I can also teach you scar tissue massage techniques to continue at home between sessions.
